Privacy & Editorial Integrity

MoneyQuill does not track you, does not sell anything about you, and does not sell its rankings. This page states, in plain terms, the data this site collects (almost none) and the money it may earn (referral commissions, disclosed below).
What This Site Collects
Almost nothing. MoneyQuill is a static publication: there are no accounts, no comment systems, no contact forms, and no analytics identifiers on these pages. We set no cookies. The only external request your browser makes while reading is to Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces this site is set in; everything else — every image, chart, and line of code — is served from our own domain. Standard web-server logs record visits in aggregate, are never combined with any other data set, and are discarded on a rolling basis.
How MoneyQuill Earns Money
When a review or ranking links to an app we recommend and a reader chooses to sign up, we may receive a referral commission from that app's maker. Three rules govern this arrangement. First, rankings are locked before any partnership discussion begins — the order in our 2026 ledger was fixed by test scores, not revenue. Second, apps that pay us nothing receive the same scrutiny and, frequently, the higher ranks; two of our current top four have no commercial relationship with this site. Third, we never accept sponsored placements, sponsored reviews, or "editorial partnerships" of any description.
Testing Ethics
Our four-week testing protocol, described in full on the editorial page, uses a standardized household of real transactions contributed by volunteers who consented in writing and may withdraw at any time. No app's maker sees our scores before publication, and no maker has input into our verdicts. When we make an error, we correct the article and note the change at its foot.
External Links
Links to the apps we review open their official sites, which operate under their own privacy policies; we encourage readers to read those policies before connecting any financial account, and our reviews verify each app's core privacy claims independently. Questions about this page may be directed to the editors via the address in our colophon.
